I’ve realised something about myself. Whenever I get upset or angry or annoyed, I end up with my head in a book, or playing my Xbox, or watching some sort of film or sitcom.
Why? Because in times like those, I’d rather see myself in someone elses shoes than wear my own.
It’s not healthy using my Xbox/books/tv as a diversion. Because then I think to myself ” I wonder which character I would fit in this book?” or “I wonder what sort of life I would have in the Mass Effect universe?” or “I wonder what superpower I would have if I was hit by the storm in Misfits?”
Reality escape. Definitely not healthy.
Still, slightly healthier than getting myself too drunk to function. At least I have that.
But it worries me, finally realising just how weird I really am.
Dear Internet:
I thought you should know that this happened. In case you didn’t already.
No, I’m not sure what to say about it either.

The car print bustier? It’s from Primark- it’s £6 I think :)
Hah, I actually have this top. Only worn it to a fancy dress party though. As Lady Gaga.
